Sea Bright Blitz

It seems fishing has "turned on" with cooler temps and stable weather.

This morning I ran to the beach for a short time when I received a msg about a lot of bait and fish.

This bluefish, and many others, was the result of that effort. Probably pushing 10lbs, had a decent set of choppers that I had to watch out for.

Time for Albies

Albies, short for False Albacore, or also known as "Fat Alberts"

Got out with Steve Byrne of First Cast Charters yesterday for a morning of excellent fishing!
Steve also invited publisher of Noreast Saltwaters and host of Noreast.com, Sal A. and we
went out to Breezy Point / Ft. Tilden off of Brooklyn (or is it Queens?? you can see the Marine Parkway Bridge in the background of the double shot with myself and Steve) and found these speedsters. Frustrating as it was to watch them all around the boat, we did manage to hook and land a few. Sal had one hit and break him off and managed to fight another all around the boat... Steve just got a hand on the line, in sight of the boat...kinda lookin' him square in the eyes before taking off on another blistering run.

All in all a FANTASTIC morning:
