I plan on retiring in 2318 days
 ... at the earliest

If I sleep 6 hrs per night, on average, then I've slept 5,173 "days"

Wow... how do you spend your time to make it count for eternity?

Weather

Let's face it, we've had some rough stretches of weather.

Perhaps moreso than anytime I can remember in my life.

In the grand state of South Jersey, we had a Derecho hit in June of 2012

We had superstorm Sandy hit on Halloween weekend, Oct 29, 2012

The winter, while not all that snowy, was long and cold

So, what do I do? I decided to put up a weather station and try to get that linked to the weather underground: www.weatherunderground.com



It's not perfect and, at this point, can't be "up" all the time. Nevertheless, My Ambient WS-2080 station is "up" and "linked"

May is Tarpon Time

Well I hope so anyways.

Went to the Florida and the Keys for a few days chasing silver. Silver Tarpon that is!

Had a few legitimate chances at catching these oversized herring on the flyrod, however was not to be.

I did, however, hookup with a couple on the last day using spinning gear, drifting a live crab into a melee of busting tarpon in the Bahia Honda Channel.
