The Fall Striper Surf
well, it's been a tough fall, fishing in the Salt. Here we are, in November, and I had yet to catch a fall striper!
yet FINALLY found a fish willing to commit suicide!
Small, yet keepable.
However, it was caught on the first cast and yielded the proverbial "first cast curse"... ie catching a fish on the first cast, and none after that :)

It was a beautiful day out on the beach
The surf looked perfect, albeit I was there at the low, incoming, tide. Had my fishing buddy, Capo, out with me:
First cast with a "plug" and found a very hard fighting, striped bass, chock full of sandeels
All I can say is I was a happy camper coming off the beach
