The December Blizzard

20" in most places, this was a blizzard in spirit, if not necessarily in meteorological terms (which require steady 35Knot winds for some duration of time, in addition to the snow).

Note also the curiosity that though weatherpeople often say "white out" during "near blizzard" conditions, technically a whiteout only occurs in the arctic regions of the earth... wikipedia has a facinating description of the phenomena. Finally, when you do go and read that (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blizzard) think of how God describes how our light should shine as Christians...Mathew 5:14 'You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.'

Moreso during this season of light :)
