Bills face Mother Nature first, then Jets
Sal Maiorana , Rochester Democrat and ChronicleIf there's one thing the Buffalo Bills have led the National Football League in throughout their mostly-tortured 55-year history, it's bad weather.
But nothing Mother Nature has ever thrown at the Bills compares to what is taking place this week as the organization tries to dig out from underneath one of the most historic snowstorms to ever hit western New York.

"We have not had this much snow, as far as we know, in the history of our team," said Andy Major, the Bills' vice-president of operations and guest experience. "We've faced some of this in the past, games with snow, and usually with a foot, you can clear the whole place in a three-day period. This is four times more snow than we've ever seen at our stadium."
And the deluge isn't over. Weather forecasts indicate another two to three feet of snow may fall between Wednesday night and Friday morning, on top of the four feet that already covers Ralph Wilson Stadium, the parking lots, and surrounding areas in Orchard Park.
Though Major and vice-president of communications Scott Berchtold would not speculate on what the chances are of having the stadium ready for Sunday's 1 p.m. game against the New York Jets, it seems as if there's a real possibility that it won't get done.
The NFL, not the Bills, will make the final determination on what to do, but the game could be pushed back to Monday, or perhaps contested at a neutral site Sunday or Monday.
