9/11 never forget

Where were you?

I was on the way to work, had just left our home and turned on the radio to hear about some "small plane" hitting the WTC north tower.

I stopped at the United Teletech Federal Credit Union on Hance Ave. and was in line, watching the monitors, seeing the smoke and thinking "small plane??? no way" and then watched in horror as the second plane hit at 9:03.

Everyone knew it was terrorism.

Everyone.

Obviously, many lives and our country changed forever, lost a very good friend that day, Al Braca:

Al was a believer in Jesus Christ. Known at work, Cantor Fitzgerald, as "The Rev"
Co-workers used to harass him by putting porno on his desk when he wasn't around, among other things.

Al always brought them to our Bible Study group for prayer, and continued to be a light in a dark place.

When it was clear there was no escape from their 101st floor (if I recall), cell phone testimony from families said that Al jumped on a desk and shouted "I'm going to heaven, who wants to come with me" and he proceeded to share the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ, and lead many in prayer.
