Decisions

Will we have a flounder season in NJ in 2017?

If so, what shape will it take and what will we see?

Update from the DEP:

Since the NJ Marine Fisheries Council met recently on April 13, 2017 and no additional information is available in regards to moving forward with any changes to the 2017 summer flounder recreational regulations, Acting Chair Dick Herb has decided to postpone the May 4, 2017 Council meeting to later this month.  No date or location has been chosen at this time as the Council awaits any decisions from the ASMFC meetings next week. If necessary, the Council will hold an emergency meeting to discuss potential summer flounder regulations pending those ASMFC decisions.
