Yes, I know it's big honkin' clip on that DD, but the stripers were hitting small things, from all reports, and this one took my white redgill. Of course, a redgill! (cf Frank Daignault/ Striper Surf)
Wind was blowing, but it was going to be worse today, and thus made the decision to get out there.
Said a prayer, asking God to give me one stiper and this 20" healthy bass took the teaser perhaps 25 yards off the wash.
Planning on getting out another time next week on the Brigantine surf, then will switch to winter trout on any nice days.
